When the winds that blow through the concrete jungles begin to die down and dust settles on the city of pandemonium, I find myself glaring through the film of filth with discontent at the decadence that creeps into our muses like infestations. The artist statements that once presented good measure have been lost under the sways of cosplay and capitalism and I am left with a sense of loathing towards my comrades who have been corrupted and transformed into grotesque cartoons of themselves. For fear of losing friends as well as succumbing to such diseases, I must leave the sprawling basin and clear my head. Off to the recesses of old lands, rediscovered only in whispers from the mountain and distant howls within ice. This can be reached by travelling one of two roads: By land, where the days meld together and one can remove their mental clutter while obtaining a collection of blisters, or by sea, which we had chosen. Our ferrymen were paid and our souls were thrust into worlds filled with familiar joys and terrors we had once forgotten.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
